Lyla's First Trike

Thursday night Danny and I took much needed (and rare) "Mommy and Daddy" time and had a litte date. We got take out at our favorite sushi restaurant, rented a movie and just relaxed. While we are on our little date Grandma Savage and Lyla hit Toys 'r us and this was what came home...a brand new trike! Lyla has been eyeing Ruby's for a while now and although she isn't quite big enough for the real thing this does an excellent job. And lets just say (as you will see from the many pictures to come) Lyla just loves it!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVES IT! Thank you Rielda for the wonderful present and for letting Danny and I have some much needed R&R alone. These pictures were taken Friday while Katie and Damien were over. Lyla stood watch (impatiently) while the boys put it together. When it was finished we could hardly get her out of it.
