Proud Parent

This is a post I couldn't wait to put up. I didn't really realize how proud and important the moment was until I was there sitting watching her up on the stage and all the parents around me with there flowers, gifts and cameras. I suppose I didn't because I am a newbie and Lyla is only three but when I saw her up there with all the other kiddos, the youngest of the bunch, so excited and waving like crazy at me and pointing me out to all her friends it hit me. I made sure I took my share of snaps. Sadly they were only on my phone but still worth sharing. And I made sure I made an extra special stop at the toy store on the way to home to get her something special to celebrate her terrific-ness. I already have pretty high expectation for her but something tells me I won't have to push and motivate that much since it seems she is already setting pretty high goals for herself. I couldn't be happier.

Starting My Own Business

So for all you avid Savvy followers I am sure you've noticed I've been a little absent these days well this is why... I have started my own business. After over three wonderful years with Hemisphere Design & Marketing, four wonderful years at Premier Media Group working on South Sound magazine and 425 magazine, my time at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, my time at Ambrosini Design I've finally done what I've always dreamed of doing. It has only been two weeks since the official launch but the outpour of support and love I've received is overwhelming and makes me feel amazing. Please take some time if you can to go to go to PassioCreative.com if you haven't already to see what I have been up to. This is such an exciting and scary time and I know there are going to a lot of highs and low so I appreciate the continued support and love. If I don't say it enough I am so thankful for each one of you.

Another Great Family Day

This Saturday we had the pleasure of having another family day starting with our traditional breakfast at the Hub then down to Olympia to walk around before we attended a birthday party for our dear friend Lisa Patterson and Jeff Burlingame's soon Grayson at the Hands On Children's Museum. It was a fun day but whipped us out as you can imagine. The ride home was pretty quite. Me driving and Danny and Lyla both out. Love these days.

Valentine's Day 2013

Valentine's Day isn't a favorite among the Stajgr Savage men but us ladies still enjoy having a little fun and now Lyla gets to have Valentine's Day all her own with her classmates at school. The cute little large envelope where everyone fills it with goodies and notes. Ah those where the times. I decided to help lyla and we did "You are Write for me" pencils. I am a firm believer in not giving candy at least at this stage in her life. She is only three. Valentine's Day also was a "Crazy Hair" spirit day. Lyla is still a little short in the hair department but we had fun putting several small ponies in her hair.

Saturday Family Day

This time of year with everyone's schedules it is difficult for to find a day that is just ours. You can't see  him from the pics (Danny avoids the cameras like no other) but this Saturday was full of lots of family time. Starting with breakfast, trip to the zoo, costco, nap for all of us and dinner. It was a great day and much needed. Gotta love days when it is just the three amigos.
