Surgery Ickiness

For those of you know me pretty well these kind of pics make me cringe so let me say sorry in advance and please close your eyes if these things make your stomach turn as much as they do mine but in the spirit of blogging and sharing our entire world I figured I should share the nightmare that has been my life the last year and half and the reason I have been MIA the last week. Let me start with I am a freak of nature because still to this day I am not certain any of my doctors know what was wrong with me. The final outcome was I had a tumor on my finger that needed to be removed (no cancer thank goodness). Since it was so deep it had to be surgically removed. This "thing" has been a pain in my "you know what" for too long. I have had it frozen twice, drained, biopsied and laser four times and it would continue to come back and not that the treatments weren't horrible enough but the sucker just got larger and larger if I didn't do anything and it hurt. I know yuck so I'll stop there. Needless to say they tell me this should do the trick and I will be monster free from now on. My finger may never look the same but I'll have my clicker finger back once and for all. The first pic is the day of surgery (drawn on, swollen and covered in iodine). The second is a few days later after I was allowed to removed my bandage and clean it. So sorry again for the over share let me tell you I wasn't doing so well the day I removed the bandage.
