A Little Extra Time Together After the Wedding

The day after the wedding we all got together for one last time for a little lunch. It was a beautiful home on a waterski lake in the area. It was great to spend some extra time with the Bride and Groom but also Amy (who Kelsey and I grew up waterskiing with as well). She is in Alaska now so I don't get to see her often. It ended up being a cloudy rainy day (very NW) but we had a great time anyway.

Reception

Of course since I was in the bridal party once the wedding began I didn't have my camera hanging off my shoulder but I did happen to get a few pics of the reception room and my wonderful parents when they first arrived.

Getting Ready for the Big Day

The day of the wedding was a absolutely blast. Of course we ladies started primping very early but there were mimosa's and a delicious brunch and in the end everyone looked gorgeous and the wedding with off with out a hitch.

The Rehearsal

Last week I had the pleasure of traveling down to Palm Springs to celebrate the wedding of my dear friend Kelsey Vasbinder. Kelsey and I grew up waterskiing together and our families are great friends. Since I was in the bridal party I came down early to help the bride as much as I could. It was a lot of fun and I loved being able to help especially since I live so far away and wasn't able to go to anything before. Here are a few pics from the rehearsal. The wedding took place at Indian Wells Country Club which was GORGEOUS!

Watercolors Introduced

My parents were in town this weekend so much fun was had for all of us. One big thing for Lyla was the introduction to watercolors. She loved it. Of course it was pretty messy but I thought it would be a good intro to paint. Thank you Grandma Stajgr for your patience and helping her with her technique. :)

Finally The Big Day....The Celebrity Waiters Luncheon & Auction 2011

So the big day arrive and everything went great. I haven't heard how much we raised but I think it was quite a bit considering the economy. I have to thank Brittany Staten, Sara Wisely, Jennifer Robbins, Katie Chevalier and my hubby for helping make the day such a success and to all my wonderful guests for attending and supporting this great cause.

Celebrity Waiter Set Up

As many of you know this last week has been filled with preparation for the Celebrity Waiters Luncheon & Auction. It is my second year hosting my own table fifth year being involved with the event. I also get nervous and this year was no different. Thankfully I have wonderful friends that were there to lend a hand. Everything came together perfectly.
