Today was a big milestone for Lyla. My baby had to put her best foot forward and be tested for an amazing preschool we are hoping to sent her to this fall. Everything went great but it took all I had to not over mother and just let her do her own thing. Thankfully she showed them exactly who she was (independant, sassy and social) and of course she loved ever minute. She even got to visit one of the classes and just sat right down and started singing with the other children. I know it is a long shot but this just feels meant to be. The pictures here are of Lyla all ready to go and a few of her getting ready. We painted her nails and all. It felt almost like her first day of school. So sentimental I feel.

Annual Alumni and Thunderbird Games
I know, I know, you don't have to tell me. My camera is literally sitting in a corner collecting dust. It has been a crazy couple of months but I am promise to work harder at updating the Savvy blog. Here are a couple snaps that I took with my pocket camera from Danny (and Dan's) annual Alumni game. It is always one of the highlights of the year and now that Lyla is getting older she is really getting into it. As you can see here after the Alumni game was over we stayed for the Seattle Thunderbirds game and Lyla was in love with "Cool Bird." I think if she could she would have followed him through the crowds. A very fun day.
