Time Inside

Thankfully we had a visitor while we were stuck at home. Aunt Katie walked over which was a FABULOUS treat since both Lyla and I were getting a little stir crazy. Here are a few pics of Lyla playing with Katie and being a huge ham.

And the Weather Keeps Getting Worse

Here are a few pictures of the mess we've been dealing with. First it was snow and then freezing rain on top of the snow. We are going through the melting process now so lots of icicles but I am sure flooding is next on the list.

Snow Day

As you might have guessed we have been affected by this crazy weather and home the last few days. Here we are as a fam after a long day of the snow not letting up making a snow man. Sadly she didn't make it very long some "hoodlums" knocked her down later that night but we had a blast putting her together. And yes our snow-woman has boobs (can't help that kind of stuff when you have a boy involved in the process).

A Day with Aunt Katie

Since yesterday was a holiday daycare was closed and so were the banks which was excellent news for us because Aunt Katie was free to watch Lyla. They had a wonderful time as you can see from the pictures (I wish I could have been with them). Thank you Katie for spending the day with our munch and for all the adorable pics through out the day. It was a treat to for me to see all the fun Lyla was having.

First Snow for 2012

It is finally here! Starting Saturday night our first flakes started falling from the sky and by Sunday morning it was really sticking. Here are a few pictures of Lyla out in the snow sunday morning. It hadn't covered the ground completely yet but we still had fun catching in our mouth and walking around seeing our tracks.

Something to dream about...

When things get crazy it is nice to have something to look forward to, something to dream about. An amazing opportunity fell on our laps last month. An opportunity we just couldn't pass up. Needless to say this coming April Danny and I (just the two of us this time) will be heading back to Puerto Vallarta to The Grand Mayan for a week. To top it off our fabulous friends Jordan and Adam will be there at the same time. Honestly if I could speed up time I would. Here is a pic of the hotel's lazy river that flows around the resort. Trust me Danny and I are planning to spend many hours floating here with margaritas in our hands.

Striking in the New Year

For New Years the Savage and Stajgr clan went bowling. It was a ton of fun and everyone got to participate even the little ones. Lyla loved it, especially her bowling shoes which we had a terrible time trying to return. You've got to respect a girls right to shoes. All in all a fabulous new years and we look forward to the year to come.
