Thanksgiving Weekend...Tree Farm No. 1
It has become tradition that Thanksgiving weekend we start out at Aunt Evy's (my Grandpa Stajgr's sister) for dinner, then the next day my mom and I head out for the crazy Black Friday shopping then Saturday we go get our christmas trees. This year was no different and that was just fine by me. I love this time of year. Here are a few pictures from the first tree farm we went to. We have gotten our trees here in the past but because it was our first stop (and we usually make a few) we just couldn't stop there. Lyla loved running around finding mushrooms, looking at the trees and playing in the mud which she often called "poo-poo." Funny girl.

This is what Happens on Sunday at The Savvys
I feel so quilty posting this picture but it was so comical. Lyla just crawled up on the couch all by herself with her pizza completely lounging just quietly eating. It had to be the funniest thing ever. Gotta love Sundays at the Savvy's.
Breakfast at the Hub
It has been a while but time to time Danny, Lyla and I walk to breakfast. It is also a distance but it is nice on a sunny day and we always have a good time. This sunday it was to the Hub. Lyla slept most of the way and most of breakfast but she woke up just in time to eat a little bit before we headed back home.
Lisa's Baby Shower
Saturday Lyla and I had a little girly time and went to Lisa Patterson's baby shower. Lisa and I worked together at PMG back in the day. She is their editor. It was great to see her as well a few all the other ladies (including Rosie who is pictured here coloring with Lyla). Lyla was great, tried to play the games, ate all the wonderful snack and even helped Lisa open all her presents (well maybe not helped but more tried to take over). It was a great time.

A Little Extra Time Together After the Wedding
The day after the wedding we all got together for one last time for a little lunch. It was a beautiful home on a waterski lake in the area. It was great to spend some extra time with the Bride and Groom but also Amy (who Kelsey and I grew up waterskiing with as well). She is in Alaska now so I don't get to see her often. It ended up being a cloudy rainy day (very NW) but we had a great time anyway.
Reception
Of course since I was in the bridal party once the wedding began I didn't have my camera hanging off my shoulder but I did happen to get a few pics of the reception room and my wonderful parents when they first arrived.
Getting Ready for the Big Day
The day of the wedding was a absolutely blast. Of course we ladies started primping very early but there were mimosa's and a delicious brunch and in the end everyone looked gorgeous and the wedding with off with out a hitch.
