4th of July with the Savage Fam

As you can imagine the sunshine filled 4th of July continued after our trip to the lake to Grandma and Grandpa Savage's house. Of course as you have seen in previous pictures Lyla just LOVE, LOVE, LOVES her cousins so much fun was to be had they played in the pool, sprinkler, and slip and slide. And of course you can also imagine we all crashed after all the fun and didn't even make it the fireworks. Very fun though.

A little time at Rainier Lake before celebrating the 4th

With the 4th of July being such a BEAUTIFUL day we couldn't help heading to Rainier Lake before the evening festivities to enjoy some of the sunshine. There was skiing (Lyla too), biking, sun bathing and lots of time in the boat. Always a good time.

Ski Park Fun!

I hate to admit this with the pleasure of calling two different lakes home but Ski Park is still one of my favorites. Every year I look forward to heading out to Orting to spend the weekend there. This weekend was no different and the weather was just amazing. We golfed, camped, BBQ'd, spent time with my parents, spent time with all our wonderful friends...it was perfect. Lyla had a blast to. She played in the sand, drove the golf carts, skate boarded as you see here (by the way that is going to be a whole new form of trouble) and played with everyone. Needless to say we had a GREAT time.

Sunshine!

So this weekend we spent most of our time at the lake which was perfect because it ended up being an amazing weekend. As you can see from these photos take Saturday no one was prepared for the weather we got which is why everyone is in their diapers and undies playing in the water. It was a lot of fun and Lyla got a lot of great cousin time which she of course LOVES. Perfect weekend.

Happy Father's Day

Becoming a parent myself has made it all that more clear how much my own parents did for me and  adds to the admiration I already had for them. My parents are the best. I know that sounds like a line but they are. Obviously this weekend was father's day so the person I was thinking about most was my dad. He is such an amazing man and I am happy to say I take after him. He is strong, honest, loyal, caring, and so talented. He is the man I love most (sorry Danny). Happy Father's Day Dad. I love you!

Rainier Lake Open

So another week goes by and I still haven't brought out my camera. Shame on me. Thankfully my mom took a few snaps this weekend for me to share. We were at Rainier Lake (Our home turf) for the second tournament of the season and our first camping extravagance of the season. Besides the weather being crummy it was a great weekend. Couldn't ask for anything better. Danny and my Dad skied well. Lyla had a blast. And we had fun to.

From the Amazing Jeff Hobson

Danny and I are truly blessed with the most amazing and talented friends. As you have seen through the years of my blogging our dear friend Jeff Hobson of J.Hobson Photography has taken some amazing shots of our family and our little munchkin. This shoot was just a couple of weeks ago. Jeff and his wife Sonja invited us to their home to take a few pictures of Lyla and we couldn't be more grateful. I have to say she was more interested in playing with their daughter Ellie while we were there then having her picture taken but Jeff did manage to get Lyla to focus from time to time. These are just a few of over 100 shots taken. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
